The National Association of Insurers of Ukraine, in accordance with its statutory documents, announces a competition for the position of the association’s leader.
Documents and information for participation in the competition will be accepted via email at [email protected] until November 30, 2021, inclusive.
The competition winner will be considered by the General Assembly of the Association for approval as the General Director.
Requirements for the candidate and the list of documents to be submitted are provided in the attachment to this announcement.
To participate in the competitive selection, the candidate must send the following documents by email to the address specified in the selection announcement:
- Application for participation in the competitive selection (in any form).
- Copy of the employment record book or documents confirming work experience.
- Copy of the document on higher education.
- Biographical reference (resume) containing, among other things, the exact period of work, job titles, duties performed in the specified positions, and the number of employees under supervision (in any form).
- Motivational letter.
- Competition proposal.
- Consent to the processing of personal data.
- The person expressing a desire to participate in the selection may provide additional information confirming compliance with the requirements specified in the announcement, particularly regarding work experience, professional competence, reputation (recommendations, publications, etc.).
The competition proposal should include:
- An analysis of the current situation and a detailed action plan for the association for one year and long-term plans for three years.
- Measures to implement the task plan and the results of an analysis of possible risks.
- A general vision of the role, tasks, and place of the Association in the insurance market.
- The role of the Association’s leader in its functioning.
Requirements for candidates:
- Higher education, including (but not limited to) one of the following fields of knowledge: “Social and Behavioral Sciences,” “Management and Administration,” “Public Management and Administration,” “Law,” “International Relations,” “Finance,” “Insurance.”
- Total work experience of at least 10 years, with at least five years of experience in leadership positions (strategic or operational management).
- Profound knowledge in the field of insurance and finance, including legislative acts related to these matters.
- Impeccable business reputation.
- Experience in collaborating with international and foreign organizations and at least five years of experience in insurance.
- Leadership qualities, systematic thinking, a strong sense of duty and responsibility, zero tolerance for corruption, determination, proactiveness, the ability to make clear and well-founded decisions, define pathways for their implementation.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, including the ability to search for and establish new productive forms of cross-industry cooperation to achieve common goals, the ability to build, maintain, and develop effective partnerships with representatives of regulators, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, associations, the media, opinion leaders, the ability to make public appearances and effectively convey information, coordinate positions, and develop effective consensus decisions.
- The ability to identify needs and the necessity of changes, the ability to organize systemic changes, anticipate and consider all beneficial opportunities and negative consequences in the conditions of their implementation.
Responsibilities of the Association’s Head:
- Directing the activities of the Association in accordance with the instructions of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU), current management of the Association, interaction with the association’s members.
