The goal of NAIU activity is the development, approval and implementation of a high level of rules and standards of activity in the market of insurance services.
1. Improving the taxation of insurance activities:
Tax incentives for the development of voluntary health insurance.
Stimulating life insurance through the introduction of tax benefits.
Harmonization of tax legislation in connection with the transition to IFRS 17.
2. Implementation of the Law of Ukraine “On Insurance”, the Law of Ukraine «MTPL» and regulatory legal acts approved for their implementation.
Standardization of existing models of insurance intermediaries’ activities in insurance legislation.
3. Improving (simplifying) the implementation of AML: standardization of due diligence at the stage of making a decision on an insured event and making insurance compensation.
4. Deepening the use of tools for digitizing insurance activities by introducing relevant proposals into legislation.
5. Non-commercial participation in the implementation of requirements for training of insurance intermediaries by insurers: development of training programs, creation of training materials, ensuring the functioning of an open training platform.
Interaction with banks, marketplaces and brokers on their implementation of requirements for insurance intermediaries.
6. Within the framework of the negotiation process between Ukraine and the EU, finalization of the Law of Ukraine “On Insurance”, the Law of Ukraine “MTPL”.
